Who is FIRST RESPONSE?

First Response was founded in 1995 initially as a First Aid & CPR training facility. Kandi Wood, founder and Director of Training, quickly realized that there existed a need for a multi-faceted health and safety training provider, to service the ever-growing demand for health and safety related training in the industrial and commercial sector.

Since its inception, First Response has expanded its services and has developed into a unique, multi-faceted health and safety training provider, in the Southern Ontario region. In effect, First Response offers one-stop-shopping for a large portion of the most common health and safety training needs required by most businesses.

Do You Have an Emergency Response Plan?

A tragic scenario...

A woman young collapsed and was not breathing. Someone in the building called for help. The rescue unit responded, however, no one on-site knew what to do and there was no plan in place to access the in-house trained personnel. Precious time was lost. When the rescue unit arrived, the patient was in cardiac arrest. The paramedics revived the woman but too much time had passed and now she lives in a coma.

The building did not have an emergency response plan!

FIRST RESPONSE can help you prepare an emergency response plan for your business no matter how small, so that your employees are equipped with the basic first aid and CPR skills and trained to a comfort level where they are not afraid to render aid to someone in need.
